Abstract:

This study examines tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior based on perceived value, experience quality, and tourist satisfaction in Long Beach Resort, Noveleta, Cavite. The proposed theoretical framework is supported by related literature. The data was gathered through accidental sampling from 150 tourists who took part in the survey by answering a questionnaire. The study’s findings show no relationship between demographic profile and tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior. However, their perceptions of value, the quality of their experiences, and satisfaction significantly influenced tourists’ environmental responsibility. Perceived value, experience quality, and satisfaction have significant relationships. These factors were crucial in motivating tourists to behave environmentally friendly. The results rejected the hypothesis as it shows a significant relationship between perceived value, experience quality, and satisfaction with tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior. Furthermore, perceived value, experience quality, and satisfaction are factors in tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior. Tourists’ enjoyment and satisfaction on the beach might encourage environmentally responsible behavior.
