Readers are provided with a collection of books in print, electronic books (or eBooks), audio books, subject-related periodicals, audiovisual and multimedia materials, online database for research which is available for in-campus and off-campus access, and theses and dissertations for undergraduate, Master and Doctorate students. 

Collection of books are strong on Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Literature, Languages, Political Science, Psychology, Computers, Social Science, Mass Communication, Marketing, Business, and Accounting. 

 The MAIN READING AREA is divided into several sections that include the Circulation, Reference, Filipiniana, Theses, Bound Periodicals and the Periodicals. 

• The collection at the CIRCULATION section may be borrowed for a number of days and renewable if there are no demands on the title. 
• REFERENCE AND SPECIAL COLLECTION features the rich volumes of encyclopedias, almanacs, atlas, dictionaries, handbooks, manual, yearbooks and other general works referred to for specific information and not to be read from cover to cover. 
• FILIPINIANA section is comprised of:
  • books written by Filipinos or written by foreign authors about the Philippines; 
  • works published in the Philippines regardless of the nationality of its authors and works published outside of the Philippines written by foreign authors but contains portion(s) or section(s) about the Philippines. 
• Together with the Filipiniana section are the unique collection of SOTERO H. LAUREL COLLECTION AND LAURELIANA. 
• The  SOTERO H. LAUREL COLLECTIONS is comprised of basic reference collection of print, published and unpublished materials which is part of the personal library of Dr. Sotero H. Laurel.  
• Kept together with his personal collection is the LAURELIANA.   

 The LAURELIANA materials are written by Jose P. Laurel including biographical, philosophical, and political works about him.  

• The THESES collection provides extant copies of graduate and undergraduate theses and dissertations submitted to Lyceum and some of the best researches conducted outside of the University. 
• The CHINA INFORMATION CENTER provides researchers with a great selection of materials about and related to the People’s Republic of China.  The collection was donated by the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU). 
• The collection of bound issues of earlier published periodicals is called the BOUND PERIODICALS COLLECTION. 
• The new magazines, journals and newspapers are showcased in the display shelf and rotating racks at the PERIODICALS SECTION. Combined with the subject-related collections of the Periodicals section are the publications of the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (or NCCA), American Shelf, United Nations, Asian Development Bank (or ADB). 
• The RESERVE AND CIRCULATION COUNTER serves two main purposes – as Reserve Section and Circulation desk.
  • The collection behind the counter are called Reserve books; these are the materials which are often requested for use and the required readings of faculty. The books may be borrowed for overnight use. 
  • The checking-in and out of all library materials takes place at the Circulation desk. 
• To support the diverse and modern learning styles of the LPU students, various audio visual materials, DVD films and instructional CDs are also provided for circulation.  Faculty and students can select and borrow the collection at the MULTIMEDIA SECTION. 
• A Kindle, which is an e-book reader is available in the section.  Library users can borrow the unit, on a “first come, first serve” basis. Another unique material in the Multimedia section is the audio book collection. 
• The SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING COLLECTION houses the professional books and references on Computer Science, Nursing, Sciences, Engineering, Culinary and Hospitality Management materials. 
• The section is designated as QUIET STUDY AREA to accommodate users who prefer a much quiet space for reading and study. 

The  ELECTRONIC LIBRARY caters to the technological needs of the undergraduate and graduate students. Users can access the World Wide Web, the library’s online databases and work on the various Microsoft Office applications.
