Abstract:

The study entitled “Study About the Benefits and Satisfaction of Virtual Internship Program as Perceived by the 4th Year Tourism Students of LPU-Manila” aims to determine the experience of 4th year tourism students of LPU Manila in regard to the benefits, satisfaction level, and essence when taking virtual internships. The study was conducted using the quantitative method while quota sampling was applied in determining the respondents. A total of 217 respondents answered the survey. Contrary to what has been assumed, the findings showed that the students have agreed that virtual internship is beneficial and important but not entirely so. The students did not completely agree that virtual internships are beneficial, give them the best learning experience, and helpful. It is recommended to still take a face-to-face internship, if possible, since having first-hand experience is a great opportunity for students.
