Level of Satisfaction on College-Based Virtual Events as Perceived by the Hospitality Management Students at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila

Abstract:

This study entitled “Level of Satisfaction on College-Based Virtual Events as Perceived by the Hospitality Managements at the Lyceum of University Manila” aims to determine the level of satisfaction of the CITHM students on different types of virtual events that has been conducted in the university. The main purpose of this research was to identify the level of satisfaction and execution of the events that the university or the event planners have carried out to give the students a satisfying event experience with the new normal learning system for the students. A quantitative design was utilized in the study. A survey instrument and an interview guide question were developed, and purposive sampling was utilized in determining the respondents to limit their scope and extent within certain required qualifications that would be appropriate for the study. The study shows that the virtual events that have been conducted in the university still need slight improvements when it comes to the event speakers and the overall quality of the virtual events to achieve a higher satisfaction rate from the students.
