Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila (LPU) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia formally discussed the areas for collaboration at the LPU Manila Boardroom on August 7, 2023.   The TAR UMT delegates also extended the invitation for the formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to LPU President Roberto P. Laurel in Malaysia.

This meeting as spearheaded by the LPU Manila Global Relations and Partnerships Director Judith B. Imperial and her TAR UMT counterpart Associate Professor Say Sok Kwan, Vice President for Administration and Internationalization, aims to open opportunities for partnership in curriculum development, joint degree programs, faculty and student exchange, research activities, workshops, conferences, and other educational, academic, and cultural programs.   

This milestone between the two universities is well supported by Ms. Jennifer D. Tucpi, OIC for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jayson M.
