CIR Alumnus, 2019 Foreign Service Officer Passer

David Bien P. Paje, a BS International Relations Major in Diplomacy graduate of batch 2011 from the College of International Relations, passed the 2019 Foreign Service Officer (FSO) examination administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs from 27 January to 13 November 2019.

Among 38 passers out of 77 examinees of the reputed difficult examination, Paje hurdled the five-stage examination among which included written exams covering English, Filipino, International Affairs, Philippine Conditions, World History, and a Foreign Language of their choice. As a newly appointed Foreign Service Officer by the Republic of the Philippines, he will undergo a 6-month cadetship program managed by the Foreign Service Institute.

Over the years the College of International Relations has produced numerous FSO passers honed by its roster of faculty members who are experts in the field of Diplomacy & International Affairs, Public Governance, Economics, History and Foreign Languages. The college maintains a proactive stance in ensuring that its curriculum is abreast with the times.
