2 Lyceans passed the 2022 Foreign Services Exam
The College of International Relations congratulates its alumni Karren Joy Fetalvero and Dane Marvic Palencia for passing the 2022 Foreign Service Officer Exam!
Karren Fetalvero graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service major in Diplomacy from the Lyceum of the Philippines University in 2015. Currently, she is a public diplomacy practitioner focusing on education diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines. She has also been an active member of the Executive Committee of the World Alliance of YMCAs, an international non-government organization, since 2018. Karren has also worked at the Czech Embassy in the Philippines and the YMCA of Makati.
Dane Palencia earned his bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service major in Diplomacy from the Lyceum of the Philippines University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2016. Since then, he has been part of the Department of Trade and Industry – Planning and Management Service where he rose from the ranks as Research Analyst and Planning Officer II in 2018 to the Officer-in-Charge of the Project Development Division in 2022. Last July, Dane earned his master’s degree in International Studies from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
