INDICATORS OF CAREER SUCCESS OF BUSINESS GRADUATES IN THE COLLEGES OF SHENGDA UNIVERSITY IN HENAN PROVINCE

Abstract:

This study focus on underlying indicators of career success which may affect individual’s approach to a successful career path in the lens of business students of Shengda University in Henan Province, and more particularly try to demonstrates the relevance between the engagement of these integrated education plans and career success model viewed by the respondents.

A quantitative analysis of the data gathered from a a survey questionnaire among the college business students at Shengda campus revealed their takes on career success and the relevant elements may influence their expected career path. The findings resulted from the the data of career-related variables that the respondent value the top 5 contributors to their career success, namely, Engaged Business Qualifications, Dedication and Integrity, Affinity and Empowerment, Occupational Skills and Competencies, and Family Obligation and Care.

Grown from the finding, it suggest the educators may craft quality programs severing the students’ demands, also formulate dynamic work plans encouraging the students exposing to the societies, transforming their mindsets on care path and building self-efficacy in response to a world-wide career environment.
