Evaluation of Tourists on Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte, Philippines

Abstract:

This quantitative study, “Evaluation of Tourists on Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte, Philippines,” intends to gather tourists’ evaluations of Limasawa Island as a tourist destination based on personal experiences with popular tourist locations, enterprises, and services. Non-probability sampling chose 240 respondents from 2016 to 2021. The results of a verified survey questionnaire are as follows: Most of the tourists are young adult males between the ages of 21 and 25 from NCR, CALABARZON, and Eastern Visayas. Tourists usually stay on Limasawa Island for 2 to 3 days for leisure, relaxation, new experiences, and to visit friends and family. Limasawa Island’s vacationers say its natural attractions provide relaxation and fresh experiences. Locals are kind to tourists, and tourism workers provide exceptional service. Festivals celebrate culture. Local eateries serve authentic, high-quality cuisine. Tourists agree that Limasawa Island is safe. Limasawa Island offers good tourist attractions, facilities, and services, and travelers are satisfied.
