Abstract:

This research is intended to produce an in-depth comprehension on the effects of the West Philippine Sea Dispute between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of the Philippines on fishermen of San Vicente, Palawan with reference to the said area and actions made by the Philippine government to be taken in connection with the information gathered by and upon the recommendation of the researchers. A purposive sampling technique was used by the researchers to determine the respondents for the study. Actions design method was incorporated in this study to have a chronologically organized format on the flow of the research. The information to be gathered would support the claims of the researchers.
