Maguisguis Integrated School and Nacolcol Integrated School, two of Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU)’s partner communities in Botolan, Zambales, in partnership with DepEd Botolan North District, Microsoft Philippines, Innovative Training Works, LPU Manila COSeL and SHS, have achieved a significant milestone! Educators from both schools have successfully passed the Microsoft Certified Educator Program (MCE) 62-193: Technology Literacy for Educators.

This certification is part of the Teaching with Technology program of Teaching and Learning Innovation Center (e-Learning) in collaboration with Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) and Senior High School (SHS) Admins and Faculty Members that assesses educators’ skills and knowledge in integrating technology effectively into classroom instruction. By passing this exam, teachers from Maguisguis and Nacolcol Integrated Schools have demonstrated their ability to leverage technology to:

• Foster student collaboration and communication
• Promote self-directed learning
• Encourage problem-solving and innovation
• Enhance the learning experience

This achievement highlights the dedication of both schools and LPU to continuously improve the quality of education in Botolan.
