On October 3, 2024, the Lyceum of the Philippines University hosted a Guidance Counselors’ Seminar entitled, “Comprehensive Approach to Suicide Prevention and Intervention in the Schools“, at the Sotero H. Laurel Academic Resource Center. Guidance counselors and mental health practitioners gathered to explore effective strategies for creating safer school environments.

Dr. Caroline Mae “Ginger” O. Ramirez led the discussion on Suicide Prevention Policies, followed by Dr. Angelie Bautista‘s session on the Recovery-Focused Suicide Management Program and a workshop on Mental Health First Aid, and Mr. Eric Dimar closed with an important talk on Counselor Wellness.
