The Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila would like to invite you to attend this year’s Guidance Counselors’ Seminar entitled. “Comprehensive Approach to Suicide Prevention & Interventions in the Schools” on October 3, 2024, Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the SHL-ARC Events Center.

Objectives:

Specifically, at the end of the seminar, the participants are expected to:

• Adapt system-wide policies on suicide prevention, integrate these in school procedures, identify students with suicide risk, use school and community personnel to intervene, address health education and suicide, involve parents, have action plans for after a suicide and to remain vigilant.
• Apply Recovery Focused Suicide Management Program and to promote a community climate which supports mental health and suicide-safety as well as strengthening life links through open, honest and supportive conversations, and;
• Practice essential strategies for counselor well-being

The early registration is PHP 1,000 and applies to reservations and payments made on or before September 20, 2024. The onsite fee is PHP 1,200 and requires prior reservation which also applies to reservations made on or before September 25, 2024 with limited slots available.

Registration is on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED basis. The fee is inclusive of materials, meals, and certificates.
