LPU SHS Research Projects were showcased and presented during 8th Tourism and Hospitality Annual Research Conference. Organized by the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality, the event was held on April 19-21, 2023, at Miriam College and online via Zoom.

The first paper entitled: “GABI NG LAGIM: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON THE SUSTAINABILITY OF DARK TOURISM IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO” was authored by ABM Tourism students: Fiona Allana B. Mason, Ami A. Hoshiba, Krista Nina B. Suriaga, Princess I. Chong, Lois Klarc L. Tolentino, Juliana Gabrielle A. Arizala, Princess Zcyric Esmeralda, John Linnus M. Leogo, Louise Margarette T. Pascual, Stephanie Marie S. Lacuesta.

The second paper, entitled “BREWING SOON: AN ASSESSMENT OF COFFEE SHOPS AS LEARNING SPACES” was authored by ABM Culinary students: Erikka Paula C. Martinez, Lovely Joanne P. Ramirez Elijah Maru G. Adarlo, Justin P. Buenaobra, Nicole Kristina F. Enriquez, Mark Joseph S. Fulgueras, Gian Carlo C. Macalaguim, Gyles R. Morano, Klaude Rupert J. Tolentino.

The third paper, entitled “SERVICE QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF THE NEW MANILA ZOOLOGICAL AND BOTANICAL GARDEN” was authored by ABM Tourism students: Aishen Catlyn Ventanilla, Ruyi Mae Li, Mikhail Gabriel Rafael, Tyra Reese Ambrosio, Krizzy Duyugan, Zairenne Mae Manibog, Princess Faye Ramos, Aliyah Ashr Castro.

They were under the supervision of the Content Lead for Science and Innovative Research, Mr. John Christian Espinola, and were co-mentored by LPU SHS LYCESO Adviser, Mr. Ell Clifferson Gallardo.
