It is with great pride and excitement that we announce the victory of LPU students in the PTAA Travel Tour EXPO- Tourism Cup 2023. Mr. Marchus Andrei C. Dedil and Ms. Aleyah Anne D. Abichuela, a 1st year and a 3rd-year student respectively, were awarded as the champions among the 29 participating teams from different universities.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the other winning teams, including Team C who took home the 2nd place with Edrian Jose A. Pontalba and Maria Juvyne Patacsil, both 2nd-year students, and Team D who won 3rd place with Eryn Denice Z. Ularte and Maria Althea C. Lai, both 3rd year and 1st-year students respectively. Team A and Team B also deserve recognition for their remarkable performance, with John Lennard Costuna and Hannah Joy de Guzman, and Crystele Joyce R. Oriente and Jasmine Gabrielle M. Reyes, both 2nd-year students, taking the 5th and 6th place respectively.

The success of our students would not have been possible without the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Enrico Cruzada, Ms. Ana Marie Chua, Ms. Sheila Marie Orlina, Ms. Catherine Chen, and Ms. Christalene Jewel Mercado, who have dedicated their time and expertise in preparing them for the competition. The support of the Dean of CITHM, Dr. Lilibeth Aragon, and the Tourism Chairperson, Ms. Ivy Charisse Pagulayan, also played a crucial role in our student’s success.

This win is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the quality of education provided by LPU. We are proud to have produced such talented and accomplished students and look forward to more achievements in the future.
