Two SHS Research Projects were recognized as Top 5 and Top 6 for the Best Research Paper: Professional Category in the Tourism and Hospitality Annual Research Convention 2022. The event was held last March 19, 2022 via Zoom and was organized by the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality and Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

Out of 45 academic papers, “Fear of the Unknown: Issues and Challenges of Graduating Tourism and Hospitality Management Students Graduating within the Covid-19 Pandemic”, authored by Aubrey Luganio, Andrea Acunin, Elisha Anne Costales, Paul Mijan Dimapilis, Julianna Francine Gonzalez, Cielo Angeline Pasion, Jessica Plural, and Mikaela Rozen Salunga ranked fifth. Similarly, “Knowledge and Awareness of Guests on Safety and Security in Hotels during the Pandemic”, authored by Lance Kimi Reyes, Rachelle G. Cordova, Henry P. Castor, Patricia S. Gonzales, Rhea B. Linaga, Hannah C. Nacario, Jeanna P. Villagomez, and Joseph G. Villaluna ranked sixth. These Grade 12 ABM Tourism students are under the guidance and supervision of Mr. John Christian Espinola, the Content Lead for Science and Innovative Research.
