LPU SHS Research Projects were showcased and presented during the St. Dominic College of Asia’s 3rd International Virtual Research Conference 2023 under the category of Nursing and Allied Health Studies. The event was held on April 18–19, 2023, via Zoom and was co-organized by the International Organization of Educators and Researchers.

The first paper entitled: THE PRESENCE OF ESCHERICHIA COLI BACTERIA IN STREET FOOD SAUCES IN A SELECTED BARANGAY IN INTRAMUROS, MANILA, was authored by Mark Stephen D. Cruzada, James Mathew D. Reyes, Princess Diana C. Go, Iya Katrine A. Pablo, Jose Angelo M. Baticaroz, Alfea Azalean A. Cabasan, Justin James E. Garcia, Ian Dhantes P. Mangune, and Cyril Gerald B. Villanueva

The second paper, entitled BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT: A CORRELATIONAL STUDY ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF STUDENTS TOWARDS ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE SMOKING, which bagged 1st Place for Best Paper Presentation, was authored by Taa Kirstin Formentera, Shaneil Ashley Pansit, John Lester Bernardo, Pete Timothy Cabulay, Armand Gabriel Gabriel Gabriel Fernandez, Alexandria Embudo, Jhollex Jimenez, and Penelope Sobreviga

They were under the supervision of the Content Lead for Science and Innovative Research, Mr. John Christian Espinola, and were co-mentored by Ms. Berlyn Amano, Faculty of Science and Innovative Research, and by Dr. Ana Margarita Reyes of the Health Services Department.
