Abstract:

This study aspires to know what assistance of Philippine government is best for the returning overseas Filipino workers from Kuwait for reintegration in the local labor market. This research was conducted through qualitative methods. The survey paper and online questionnaires were distributed to the different satellite offices of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration as well as through emails. The researchers have found out that the useful assistance to the distressed OFWs from Kuwait is the ‘Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay’ Program or the Livelihood Assistance.
