Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila is proud to announce its victory at the Sayaw Pinoy 2023 competition at the PTAA Travel Tour EXPO 2023!

Our university has been named the Grand Champion, beating out other universities and Department of Tourism (DOT) regions across the Philippines.

This is a significant accomplishment for LPU, and it is a testament to the talent and dedication of our students and faculty.

The Sayaw Pinoy competition showcased the traditional dances and cultural heritage of the Philippines, and LPU was able to showcase its expertise and passion in this field.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Sayaw Pinoy dancers, the LPU Dance Troupe, who worked tirelessly to perfect their performance and to represent LPU with pride. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and they were able to bring home the championship trophy, bringing honor to our university.

Congratulations also to our very supportive Dean, Dr. Lilibeth Aragon. To our Tourism Chairperson, Ms. Ivy Charrise Pagulayan, thank you for your unending support.

Of course, this would not be possible without the mentorship of Dr. Enrico Cruzada and Ms. Ann Mizer Hernandez.

This win is a reflection of the quality of education and the commitment of our faculty and staff to providing our students with opportunities to showcase their talents and skills.

We want to thank the PHILIPPINE TRAVEL AGENCIES ASSOCIATION (PTAA) Travel Tour EXPO 2023 organizers for giving us the opportunity to participate in this competition, and to the judges for recognizing the talents and hard work of our students.
