LPU’s 2nd Focus Group Discussion with Parents
In pursuit of continuous improvement and customer engagement, the Communication and Public Affairs Department (CPD), in cooperation with Research and Innovation Center (RIC), conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with parents of LPU Students on April 5, 2019 at Muralla Ballroom, The Bayleaf Intramuros.
This year’s FGD sought to learn the perspective of parents and their level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the quality of LPU services in terms of admission, enrollment, payment, instruction and other services. Fifty-nine parents participated divided into ten groups, representing CAS, CBA, COT, CIR, CITHM, SHS, joined by parents of scholars, parents of OJT students, parents who availed of Alumni or sibling discount, and parents who work abroad. The Deans and Directors acted as the Moderators of the group discussions while the College Secretaries or Department assistants served as the Transcribers. The results of this research activity will be used to generate action plans for Colleges, Units, and other relevant parties, which will help the University in its commitment to continuous improvement through excellent and innovative services for all LPU stakeholders.
