Senior Lecturer Prof. Ropam Konar from Taylors University Malaysia
conducts Research Lecture on Structural Equation Modeling at LPU
In its strong commitment to the research mission of LPU, the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality (PARTH), organized the seminar Enriching Quantitative Research through Structural Equation Modelling on March 13, 2019.
Prof. Ropam Konar was the invited Speaker. He earned his doctorate and Master’s in International Hospitality from Taylors University Malaysia, where he also serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Center for Research and Innovation. His areas of expertise are Hospitality Service Delivery System, Service Design, Service Innovation, Service Management, Healthcare Service Delivery, and Business Tourism.
Structural equation modeling is a multivariate statistical analysis technique used to analyze structural relationships. A combination of factor analysis and multiple regression analysis, it analyzes the structural relationship between measured variables and latent constructs.
The enriching research activity was attended by more than 70 delegates from different colleges and universities who are active PARTH members.
