CBA Holds ManSoc Week

Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Management Society (ManSoc) of the College of Business Administration (CBA) started its organization week with a blast on January 10, 2017 at the LPU Mini Theater. The organization held a series of events for the improvement of its members’ skills and knowledge.

The seminar, dubbed iLEAD, served as its kick-off ceremony for the year. iLEAD is a seminar created for the empowerment of students to boost their confidence to lead. The seminar began with the organizers asking the audience about their expectations from the topic. The top answer was to help them learn to lead effectively and efficiently. Their expectations were exceeded by the speaker, Mr. Brandy Valdez, as he caught the attention and interest of the audience throughout his talk. The talk focused on leading with unity. In the end, the students felt empowered and equipped to lead people whom the students can influence.

To challenge the management students to step out of their comfort zone, ManSoc also held a Quiz Bee -- Mind Breaker 2017. This was also held to improve its members’ competitiveness in line with the mission and vision of Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila.

The organization also held a personality development seminar entitled How to Be Me. The talk focused on breaking the mindset of idolatry, equipping students to perform at their best and empower them by forming their self-worth. ManSoc invited guests from other universities around Manila such as Adamson, Philippine Women’s University, Philippine Christian University, and Collegio de San Juan de Letran.
