Indigenous Peoples’ Month in Sitio Masla General Nakar, Quezon
As part of the celebration of the Indigenous People month, the College of Arts & Sciences along with the Community Outreach Service Learning turned over a classroom to the Aytas in Sitio Kayanga, Maguisguis, Botolan, Zambales which was held last October 21, 2023, Saturday.
The CAS Department of Social Sciences and CoSel have been working together on this project since 2018, and the kids are now in fourth grade. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to both departments for commencing the fundraising event to keep the program going, along with the assistance of our other local partners, Assisi Dev. Foundation (ADFI), Hapag-Asa DepEd, LGU, NCIP Botolan, and NCIP Zambales.
