IR Students are chosen as delegates to South Korea

Sixteen international relations students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University were chosen by International Youth Fellowship (IYF) to participate in the Leadership Training in Korea and World Camp Korea last June 27 to July 16, 2011 in Busan and Seoul, Republic of Korea.

IR students Ludell Alcala, Krizel Balasabas, Carla Jean de Mesa, Alyssa Marie Dispo, Jose Marie Flores, Maria Joana Paula Gonzales, Hany Rose Bien Bien King, Kathryn Legaspi, Jessica Ann Mendoza, Reyann Mendoza, Joane Nobleza, Sofia Ann Santiago, Seanne Marion Santos, Grachel Samaniego, Santos Sorra, Jr. and Jessica Villapando participated in several local workshops and were given opportunity to learn the tradition and culture of Korea and to experience Korean way of life.

International Youth Fellowship is a global organization established to develop leaders for the next generation.  The World Camp is a large scale international event where many students from Korea, US, China, Japan as well as Southeast Asia are participating. The Camp will be a good site for people-to-people diplomacy where international culture and human interaction are formed.
